A mysterious phenomen has revealed itself at the Campus Santiago Apostle, in the Catholic University of Honduras in Danli, where the statue of Virgin Mary was spotted crying.
Priest Juan Angel Lopez said he was certain the weeping statue has not been faked
And while local worshippers have been left baffled with what they saw Priest Juan Angel Lopez remains convinced that a weeping sculpture is not a fake.
Priest Lopez, who is the Pastor of the Iglesia Santo Domingo Savio church in Honduras’ capital Tegucigalpa, commented on the incident that occured at the weekend:
“I’m not saying it’s true, I’m saying it’s possible. In this case, I suspect that there is no falsehood because I know people who run the Campus Santiago Apostle. I know the seriousness of people who have recorded the video and do not think they would fake it.”
A person is seen talking to the camera before wiping away the statue’s tears with a tissue
However, the priest himself can’t explain the occurrence and believes it is a miracle.
Footage shows tears rolling down Virgin Mary effigy’s cheeks as a person behind the camera is wiping them away with a tissue.
