A promising Nigerian blogger named Chukwuebuka Isidore aka Ghostmode has met his demise in Port Harcourt, Rivers State as he attempted to evade police arrest in the oil-rich city.
Reports making rounds on Facebook reveal a blogger, Chukwuebuka Isidore aka Ghostmode has been killed by operatives of the Nigerian police force, in Rivers, South-south part of Nigeria.
Sources claim he was ‘smoking’ with a group of friends around Azikiwe, Mile 2 Diobu, Port Harcourt when the police invaded the scene prompting the young man to take to his heels. He was allegedly shot dead by a trigger-happy police officer during the hot case.
News of the bloody event circulated the social media space on the 21st of September, 2016 at exactly 3pm, according to a close friend who shared the news on his Facebook page.
“It was just on Sunday, 18th September, 2016 that we met unexpectedly for the first time ever and talked about an official link up sometime soon and in his words “This soon no go too soon” but too bad he’s gone too soon” (sic)
“Now I wonder why the police that’s supposed to protect life and properties would be so hasty to take one’s life. If I’m asked why who would I ask??
“Rest well bro, Chukwuebuka Isidore AKA Ghostmode.” his friend lamented.
