Dickson and his wife had been married for many years without children. The couple now has their hands full with the arrival of their quadruplets, a boy and three girls.
Bayelsa state governor’s quadruplet
The birth of the bundle of joy was announced by Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Daniel Iworiso-Markson, who stated that the couple joyfully welcomed three girls and a boy on Friday, September 23, 2016 in the United States.
The happy father took to his Facebook page to announce the arrival of bundle. He wrote:
“The season of celebration continues in my family as my wife Mrs. Rachael Dickson just put to bed in the United States of America. She was delivered of a quadruplet; a bouncing baby boy and three beautiful baby girls. Mother and children are doing well.
This is particularly good news for the family because this bundle of joy is coming after many years of praying and waiting upon the Lord.
I thanks friends, family members and Bayelsans for their prayers and support and enjoin us all to continue to pray.
The arrival of the children has been tagged a double celebration as the governor’s re-election was overwhelmingly upheld by the Appeal Court in Abuja on Thursday, September 22.
