A Nigeria Professional Football League player, Ifeanyi Egwim who fractured his leg following a harsh tackle in a recent match has undergone a corrective surgery.
NPFL Champions – Rangers International FC of Enugu has said that their player Ifeanyi Egwim who broke his Tibia and Fibula in a very pitiable state during the line of duty in the 4-0 annihilation of El-kanemi Warriors on 2nd October 2016 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, has undergone a successful surgery.
This is coming as massive news to the club and their teeming fans who have been left heartbroken with the gory injury suffered by the influential and talented footballer. He is expected to be sidelined for over nine months.
Ifeanyi Egwim was visited after the surgery at the hospital by his colleagues and family members who claimed he is holding up impressively.
