Tottenham will be delighted with their work in Oslo as they absolutely demolished Inter Milan at the Ullevaal Stadion to lay down a marker ahead of the new Premier League season.
Mauricio Pochettino watched from the dugout as a strong Spurs side hit six past the Italians in Oslo. Harry Kane’s form will buoy his manager, as the England striker marked his post-Euro 2016 return with a brace.
When Kane scored from the spot just minutes five in Tottenham always looked likely to run up a score, but Ivan Perisic did equalise 20 minutes later. Erik Lamela put the English side back ahead before half-time with Dele Alli, Kane, Vincent Janssen and Shayon Harrison all scoring in the second half.
