We made history in one night
We screamed the whole night
Without guns and bulletproof, without arrows and shield, without knives
For solidarity isn’t a physical fight
Same horrible night the stars left the sky
We cried for peace all in one night
We pledge to our motherland since birth
To be faithful loyal and honest
To serve her with all our strength
That fatal day we marched to defend her unity
I saw mats, I saw duvets I knew there was no retreat
But then I remembered that “a child who will not let his mother sleep will also have no peace”
That treacherous night the gate of hell prevailed
Gunshots sounded like trumpets and bullets fell like rain
The gate keepers in uniform, just like zombies all over the gate
A zombie is ruthless, a zombie is senseless
A zombie is dumb and imbecilic, a zombie is witless
They shut the light on us so they can strike , little did they know modernity would be our witness
We lost siblings and we lost friends
We all flee for our lives the city Kings couldn’t protect
The city Kings left the city while the citizens languish in hell
For he that beats the drum for the mad man to dance is no better than the mad man himself
Oga Why are you running when nobody is pursuing you?

The city Kings are back to fill the bullet holes and cover their atrocities
The city Kings are back to declare the zombies guilty
The city Kings and the zombies share secrets
The city Kings reanimates the zombies, they form cabals their hands are filthy
When I light a cigarette it burns and leaves only ashes
So when we finally burn down the cities we will be left with ashes
Wounds may be healed but will always leave a scar
