Paris Saint-Germain overcame Toulouse 6-2 on Sunday night in an entertaining affair at the Parc des Princes.
The visitors went ahead through Max Gradel on 18 minutes but were pegged back moments later through Neymar who tapped home from close range. He then turned provider, setting up Adrien Rabiot for PSG’s second goal of the evening.
And the drama continued in the second half with Marco Verratti being sent off after picking up his second yellow with just over 20 minutes remaining. But despite going down to 10 men, Edinson Cavani stretched his side’s lead from the penalty spot.
Thiago Silva then put into his own net on 79 minutes and it could have been a very nervy ending. But goals from Javier Pastore, Layvin Kurzawa and another from Neymar ensured PSG ran out 6-2 winners.
